WALTZES - ALEXANDRE THARAUD (Piano) | HARMONIA MUNDI 901927 Another very fine disc by Tharaud. Poetry, refinement, and elegance are the qualities on display here. He shows that these waltzes are not merely salon pieces, but true musical gems. Astonishingly good piano sound from an instrument Tharaud picked himself because of it's "woody" tone.
